WHO WE ARE
Studio Kurokage is a full-service visual production studio based in DFW, Texas - Built for brands, creators, and businesses that refuse to blend in.
We create cinematic photography and video designed with both artistry and strategy in mind, and help brands actually use it. From concept to camera to content strategy, we build the visual identity and marketing infrastructure that turns great creative into real growth. Our work goes beyond visuals, combining intentional storytelling, brand strategy, and world-building elements to create content that not only captures attention but leaves a lasting impression.
At Studio Kurokage, we don't create content for the sake of content. We create experiences, build presence, and craft visuals designed to make your brand unforgettable.
Every frame is intentional. Every story is strategic. Every brand deserves to be remembered.
The studio story
Founded by Creative Director Akira Uehara, Studio Kurokage exists because most brands have two separate problems: they don't have strong enough visuals, and they don't have a strategy to make those visuals work. We solve both.
Akira brings a cinematic, intentional aesthetic built across years of music video production, brand campaigns, concert photography, and editorial work — on digital and film. That eye for storytelling shapes not just what we shoot, but how we think about your brand at every level.

The philosophy
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all. Every studio can point a camera. Not every studio understands your audience, builds your content strategy, manages your channels, and measures what actually moves the needle. That's what sets us apart.
We work with a small roster of clients at a time — intentionally. Because your brand deserves focused attention, not a conveyor belt.
